my stay at comfort inn was great! the king room was cozy, clean, and well-stocked with soft towels. the indoor pool was a nice touch, and the breakfast was decent, which is always a plus. it’s conveniently located near hobart, in, making it easy to explore the area. i especially liked that they welcome pets!

during my stay, I loved that there were so many parks nearby, like Hidden Lake Park just a short drive away, perfect for a morning walk, and I also appreciated how easy it was to explore local attractions, making my weekend city strolls enjoyable and convenient.

Not what I expected!

I stayed for a night and honestly, it was kinda disappointing. The bathroom had bugs and the sink was super low—felt like a kid's bathroom. I was promised breakfast but got just a muffin. On the plus side, the picnic area was nice for hangouts, but I'd say look for other options.

This was just a top selection for a passing visit in Merrillville with a fair price. The bathroom door in my room didn't close properly, which was a nuisance. Consider checking the room features before settling in.

Additionally, a rather odd and sizable hole was found in the screen, which seemed unnecessary for a hotel that prioritizes guest comfort. Lastly, I got mixed up on check-in with a reserved room that wasn't available, which put a sour note on my first night.

Family getaway kind of place

The woman who checked me in was friendly enough to make me feel welcome right off the bat. I liked that checkout was at noon instead of 11, gave me some breathing room on our last day.

I loved my spacious Superior Queen Room with Two Queen Beds! The highlight was definitely the large stainless steel hot tub, which was super relaxing after a long day. Plus, the indoor pool was a wonderful escape
